SUMMARY: The Project Manager is responsible for estimating, managing, and selling projects for Goodgame Company, Inc. They are tasked with completing the work on schedule, within budget, and to the specified quality of workmanship. The Project Manager must protect and promote Goodgame Company, Inc.'s interests in all matters and fulfill their duties and responsibilities diligently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY: To provide leadership, establish, and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with on-site staff, fostering positive project morale.
DUTIES AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and salesmanship to effectively sell construction work to customers.
Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of the General Contract, Subcontracts, contract drawings, specifications, and addenda.
Proficient in Microsoft products including Project, Word, and Excel.
Identify design deficiencies, impractical details, and potential code violations in contract documents and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
Assist in developing and refining the Project Schedule, ensuring it meets required deadlines.
Exhibit conceptual estimating skills for commercial construction and industrial projects.
Plan and review the Construction Program, including quality control procedures, scheduling, safety measures, and resource allocation.
Verify Subcontractors' compliance with contractual requirements before commencing work on-site.
Coordinate activities with inspection agencies and implement necessary remedial actions.
Conduct weekly coordination meetings and monthly safety meetings with subcontractors, documenting meeting minutes.
Review and approve as-built prints on a monthly basis.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions.
Lift objects weighing up to 75lbs and routinely lift 50lbs.
Perform physical tasks including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching.
Flexibility to work extended hours, and some weekends as required.
Good vision, stamina, and hand-eye coordination.
CERTIFICATES & LICENSES:
Up-to-date CPR/AED certificate.
Completion of 30-hour OSHA training.
LEED AP or LEED training is encouraged.
