On October 28, 2004, Donna Davis-Stokes formed DPS Group, LLC. DPS Group began operations on May 1st of 2005 as an electrical contractor, security electronics and detention equipment installer. Over the last twenty years DPS Group has grown and expanded to become an industry leading security electronics integrator, while remaining a full-service electrical contractor for commercial, industrial, governmental, military and institutional settings.
DPS Group has specialized over the last two decades in electrical contracting, security electronics integration and detention equipment in city, county, state and federal correctional facilities and courthouse complexes all across the United States. Our ability to comfortably perform in all three aspects of work has given us a flexibility, agility and knowledge to change with the ever-evolving contracting market. Our work has taken us from Mendota, California to Richmond, Virginia and almost every state in between. From working at Federal Correctional Institutes installing fiber backbones to working on military installations installing electrical systems for final denial barriers to replacing detention lock pockets and locks for county facilities to fabricating, programming, installing and commissioning PLC touchscreen controls in state prison facilities, we have explored the depths of our specialties in a variety of settings.
