What You’ll Do
- Perform commercial electrical service, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations for a variety of commercial facilities.
- Complete special projects, tenant improvements, and commercial build-outs.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, lighting systems, and basic lighting controls.
- Pull wire and cable, bend and install EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications.
- Work safely at heights using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and rooftops while following all OSHA and company safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Identify, correct, and report safety hazards and code deficiencies.
- Lead by example while mentoring, training, and supporting apprentices and junior technicians.
- Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and team members to ensure successful project completion.
- Complete service documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous learning and career development.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 2–5 years of commercial electrical service experience.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to troubleshoot commercial electrical systems efficiently.
- Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, lighting installations, and electrical controls.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to lift 50–75 pounds, climb ladders, kneel, crawl, and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work independently while effectively leading and collaborating with a team.
