The Alabama Construction Recruitment Institute is seeking to fill the position of:
Placement Coordinator
The placement coordinator will facilitate employment and training placements based on the needs of the construction industry as well as those of the individual seeking a career in the construction industry.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or minimum 2 years related experience.
Knowledge of commercial construction industry and training programs.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Excellent presentation skills
Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
Computer skills
Ability to work flexible hours
Ability to travel as needed, including overnight stays
In office work required when not traveling
Reliable transportation
Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance
Major Responsibilities
Engaging with candidates to determine training and employment goals
Matching candidates with companies and training programs
Meeting with employers to discuss recruiting needs
Maintain accurate records of services provided and placement
Develop and implement recruiting events and strategies to meet employer needs
Provide regular reports of placement activities
Develop effective partnerships with employers and community organizations
Compensation: Negotiable, based on skills and experience
