The Alabama Construction Recruitment Institute is seeking to fill the position of:

Placement Coordinator

The placement coordinator will facilitate employment and training placements based on the needs of the construction industry as well as those of the individual seeking a career in the construction industry.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum 2 years related experience.

  • Knowledge of commercial construction industry and training programs.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills

  • Computer skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours

  • Ability to travel as needed, including overnight stays

  • In office work required when not traveling

  • Reliable transportation

  • Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance

Major Responsibilities

  • Engaging with candidates to determine training and employment goals

  • Matching candidates with companies and training programs

  • Meeting with employers to discuss recruiting needs

  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and placement

  • Develop and implement recruiting events and strategies to meet employer needs

  • Provide regular reports of placement activities

  • Develop effective partnerships with employers and community organizations

Compensation: Negotiable, based on skills and experience
