Position Description
The HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic is responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings. This role requires a skilled professional who can work independently or as part of a team to ensure the successful installation and maintenance of HVAC systems. The HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic will also adhere to company policies, safety standards, and project specifications to deliver high-quality results.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
Installing ductwork per SMACNA standards, including ATU, RTU, and split systems.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and following instructions accurately.
Traveling to job sites as required, with occasional overnight stays.
Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in sheet metal work or HVAC systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy.
Must pass a background check and drug test in accordance with the Company Substance Abuse Policy.
Must pass a pre-employment fitness test.
Ability to accurately read a ruler or tape measure.
Punctuality and regular attendance are essential.

Familiarity with HVAC systems and SMACNA standards.
Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
