Ammons & Blackmon Construction is a general construction company who has provided quality workmanship with underground utilities, excavation and road construction to Mobile and Baldwin Counties for over 30 years.
Ammons & Blackmon Construction was founded in 1986 by Bill Ammons and Jerry Blackmon who joined their drive and determination for building a better community. In 2019 brothers Chad and Clay Ammons purchased the Blackmon Construction side of the company and continue the tradition of quality workmanship. We are now a three generation company with their sons working in the business. Over the years our market has broadened to include the industrial as well as residential and commercial markets. Today we employ over 120 hard-working men and women and have completed a multitude of projects for the private and government sectors.
We specialize in heavy highway and civil construction. We self-perform the installation of site utilities (water, sewer and storm drain), site grading, concrete and asphalt installation, erosion control maintenance and other excavation and grading work.
