Safely operates heavy equipment alongside and in coordination with a crew on railroad track job sites. Ensure accurate records of daily inspection and maintenance of equipment. May be required to help crew on the ground when operating is not required.
High school diploma or GED
1-year experience operating heavy equipment, specifically backhoe and forklift. Must have a valid driver's license and pass a pre-employment drug test. Regular hours are M-F 6a-3p, must be available on-call some evenings & weekends, willing to travel for out-of-town work. Excellent written and oral communication skills, Self-motivated. 18 years + only.
