I Integrity Maintenance LLC is a self-performing general contractor headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, delivering construction, renovations, and facility maintenance services to commercial, industrial, public and private sector, and residential clients across the Gulf Coast.
POSITION SUMMARY
THIS ROLE
This is not a general handyman position. We are looking for an experienced renovation professional who brings deep, multi-trade knowledge, takes ownership of their work, and consistently delivers professional-grade results with minimal supervision.
We take pride in craftsmanship, reliability, and tackling complex renovation challenges with skill and professionalism. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Renovation Technician to join our team and uphold our standards of excellence on every project.
The Renovation Technician is a skilled, multi-trade professional responsible for executing a wide range of renovation projects from start to finish in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate adapts to unique project demands, troubleshoots problems effectively, and operates with a high degree of independence and craftsmanship.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Renovation Execution
• Plan, execute, and complete residential and commercial renovation projects with minimal supervision
• Perform interior and exterior renovation work including framing, drywall, insulation, flooring, tiling, painting, and carpentry
• Execute kitchen and bathroom renovation work including cabinet installation and countertop setting
• Perform general carpentry, trim work, door and window installation, and custom built-ins
• Install, repair, or replace flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, tile, and LVP
• Execute drywall work including hanging, taping, mudding, texturing, and finishing
• Apply interior and exterior paint and coatings with attention to surface preparation and finish quality
• Perform basic plumbing tasks such as fixture replacement and minor pipe repairs within renovation scope
• Perform basic electrical tasks such as outlet, switch, and fixture replacement within renovation scope
Site & Project Management
• Assess existing conditions and develop effective approaches to meet project goals within scope and timeline
• Identify and resolve structural, aesthetic, or functional challenges that arise during renovation work
• Perform demolition safely and prepare spaces for renovation efficiently and cleanly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite in compliance with applicable OSHA standards throughout each project
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client expectations
• Communicate professionally with project supervisors and clients regarding job status and any concerns
• Accurately document work performed and materials used; report any unforeseen conditions promptly
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a physically demanding, safety-sensitive, field-based position. The following physical requirements are essential to performing the job:
• Regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in confined or elevated spaces
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 75 lbs. regularly; up to 100 lbs. with assistance
• Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights safely
• Work is performed primarily at indoor and outdoor job sites; exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and construction materials is expected
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required as appropriate to the task

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
• Minimum 5 years of verifiable, hands-on experience in residential and/or commercial renovation work
• Demonstrated proficiency across multiple renovation disciplines: carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, tile, and basic electrical and plumbing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications
• Proven capacity to independently troubleshoot challenges and deliver professional solutions on the job
• Working knowledge of building codes, construction best practices, and applicable safety regulations
• Experience operating hand tools and power tools safely and proficiently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (employment eligibility verified via E-Verify per Alabama law)
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and skills assessment as a condition of employment
Preferred
• Experience across both residential and commercial renovation project types
• Formal trade training, apprenticeship, or vocational education in a relevant field
• Prior experience leading or managing renovation scopes independently
• Familiarity with project estimating, material takeoffs, or client-facing communication
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Benefits
$20.00 – $30.00 / hour, commensurate with experience. Overtime at 1.5x for all hours over 40/week in accordance with the FLSA.
