Description
What You will be responsible for:
- Manage and maintain the inventory database working under the direction of the purchasing manager.
- Track inventory of company tools and materials and ensure timely replenishment to prevent stockout or excess inventory.
- Submit purchase orders for new stock up to the pre-authorized limit.
- Utilize data in the inventory database to create inventory reports and forecast demands.
- Manage inventory by stocking and cataloging products.
- Establish and maintain a backup source for high-demand items.
- Create and maintain a relationship with vendors
- Receive invoices from vendors and work with vendors to update current pricing.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits.
- Perform essential office tasks, including but not limited to data entry and filing
- Performs other related duties as requested.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
- Proficient typing skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft office and excel (ability to use formulas/basic calculations/create charts).
- Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical material preferred.
- Prior experience utilizing an inventory software preferred.
- ServiceTitan software experience preferred.
