- On the front line of the liaison between Owner, Architect, Engineer and Contractor.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate plans, specifications and project schedule.
- Input to develop project schedule and construction methods.
- Ensure project stays on schedule and budget through direct communication with subcontractors and vendors to make sure dates are met and to communicate consequences when dates are not met.
- Have a working knowledge of our standard subcontract and each subcontractors' scope of work.
- Supervise workers and subcontractors on the project site.
- Supervise on site safety plan and hold weekly safety talks.
- Ability to perform carpentry trade skills, including hanging commercial doors, frames and installing door hardware and cabinets.
- Maintain all Trawick worker hours on the job-site and code them to appropriate costs codes.
- Working knowledge of Smart phones, texts, emails and apps to communicate from job-site to central office, subcontractors, architect, and owner.
